chinstraps reproduction, quality ‘perfect replica’
This denomination guarantees you to have a chinstrap identical to those of WW2.
Everything is respected: the type of leather, the shaping of the buckle, the type of thread to the way of sewing it. Important, our chinstraps have 13 holes. Too many reproduction chinstraps do not meet this criterion. Note that this type of chinstrap was produced from 1936 until the 70s/80s but only those from 1936 to 1945 have 13 holes. The others have 12 or even 11.
Aluminum or iron buckle?
From 1936 to 1940 the buckles were in aluminum and then in iron from 1940 until the end of the war. 1940 was therefore a period of transition.
Our chinstraps dated from 1936 to 1939 have an aluminum buckle, those from 1940 will allow you to choose between an aluminum or iron buckle and the chinstraps from 1940 and later have an iron buckle.

From now on, I make my own dies to mark chinstraps. You can be sure of having a very faithful reproduction of an existing marking.
This allows me to reproduce original markings with the same finesse and depth of strike.
