german jerrycan dated 1939

Nice exemplary of the famous German jerrycan, dated 1939.
this jerrycan was recently found at the home of a resident near Montauban in France, a town where the 'Das Reich' division was stationed in 43-44. functional container because it was used nowadays for diesel.

regulatory green paint covered with a shade similar to RAL 7013 well repainted in light grey. the original green is present on the entire surface except for the underside which was slightly rusted. the rust has been treated and stopped.
