Found in principle on EF M42 helmets only.

Found primarily on all varieties of pre-war helmets, makers & shells, primarily on pre-war transitionals and M35s of all makers, the most common being 1935-36 and 1938 dated ET M35s. Rare to find on M40s and M42s unless reissued or reverse runic. Seen on NS M42 helmet.

This replica of a SS decal during WW2 is entirely consistent with the original. Colors, designs and dimensions are fully respected.

true white metallic background, like an original decal SS

Exceptional result when applied, can then grow old like the real German decals period.

Like the originals, it is printed upside down and is applied with the adhesive provided.

During WW2, German helmet manufacturers have sought a solution to keep the insignia decals on the helmets, so they have the decals printed upside down so that you can paste during installation, for optimum grip.
We managed to reproduce this system!

You will receive an unusued decal. Some photos may show decals artificially aged, as an example of what you can get. Glue is free for the purchase of perfect lacquer decal. if you order several decals you will receive 1 bottle containing the necessary dose of glue.

    During your first order decal 'perfect lacquer'

  you will receive two small decals to train you to use glue

HOW TO APPLY PERFECT LACQUER DECALS

= DECAL PERFECT LACQUER ==

remove excess glue and bubbles with a damp sponge .

do not try to remove the adhesive under the decal , even if it seems that it is thick it’s normal, and it will completely disappear with the drying.

LET THE GLUE UNDER THE DECAL

The glue will dry and retract, the decal will perfectly join on the helmet paint. Once the glue is dry, not before 7 days, you can still improve the resistance by exposing the helmet in the sun for a quarter of an hour, or by passing a heat gun shot (set not too hot !) the aim is to heat it. But it's not necessary.

IMPORTANT: Final drying time is seven days. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO THE OLD OR BEFORE THE HEAT ! Before and during the phase of asking a decal is very fragile to handle so with great caution. A concern during installation ? contact me.
